I am using Studio 2022. My client’s recent 20,000 word project has produced more than 1,000 verification messages (most of them false positives). When going through the QA, each time I click to ignore an error, there is a delay of a few seconds. When fixing errors, the delay is even longer (sometimes more than 20 seconds). This is making QA checking extremely painful. Is this normal behaviour from Trados and is there any way to speed up QA checking?

Would you please describe how do you go through the messages? Are they listed and you click those relevant to you? Is the file opened for review? Are the file and the resources stored locally? Your PC specs are?

I go through the relevant messages one by one and click “change”
or “ignore” as appropriate. The QA is done when I have finished the translation, and all of the segments are marked as translated (so it’s not at the review stage). The file and resources are all stored locally and also backed up to OneDrive. PC is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 16.0 GB of RAM.
Step 1 is not going to work because the QA settings are made by the customer, not me. Step 2 doesn’t apply because I have the most recent version of Trados. Step 3 doesn’t apply because my computer already has enough RAM/SSD etc. Step 4 shouldn’t be necessary if the software is working properly (the doc I was running was only around 14,000 characters). Step 5 seems to be telling me to give up (and the customer wants the Trados QA report so I can’t do that).
There are two options of resolving QA errors: clicking them one by one on the LIST or double clicking the first one and going through the wizard. While the first method is fast, the second one is slow. This is why I'm asking.

Thanks, I will try that next time I come across this issue. The disadvantage is that it will take more clicks to click them one by one in the list, and it’s harder to keep track of which ones I have handled already.
