Automated Translations applied although option disabled

Question

The NMT results are applied to the untranslated segmetns after running the batch task "Prepare". This happens although the option under File > Options > Editor > Automation is disabled.

I tested this with another project template where I know it works, an the text was prepared without automatically filling the NMT results in.
In both templates, the option is disabled.

Is there any other place that influences the behaviour of NMT I am not aware of and for which I should use other settings?
