error (Failed to initialize view ”SDLReportsViewer_View” ) when I started to Trados.

Question

Hi I get an error (Failed to initialize view ”SDLReportsViewer_View” ) when I started to Trados. This is after I installed the last update for the current version. Does anyone know what I have to do to get around this error? I can t open the software. :(

Hi Radu Bailau , Joe Zhou , Trados Studio 2022 CU8 was released today that includes a fix to prevent the NRE exception reported here against the reports viewer plus plugin

Hi Radu Bailau , Joe Zhou , thank you for reporting this issue. 
 We have been able to reproduce the issue and confirm it's related to changes we released with CU7. A solution is currently being worked on by the development team & will be included with the next release, which is expected in the next week timeframe. internal ref. LG-40437 
 I'll circle back once the next CU is available to confirm with you that it resolves the problem.
