Using Citrix WorkSpace to run a virtual instance of Trados Studio: Studio crashes after entering subscription credentials

My organization uses an app called Citrix WorkSpace to run virtual instances of applications on your local machine. Basically, they have a webpage with the apps that can be run virtually, then you click on one of the apps and Citrix WorkSpace helps you interface with the virtual app on your local machine.

We just tried adding Trados Studio 2022 to the list of virtual apps, and

  • the application runs just fine.
  • I put in my RWS ID credentials to activate the app with my subscription.
  • It successfully logs in with my RWS ID credentials and displays the info related to our Academic Partner Program subscription.
  • As soon as I hit "OK" on the dialog box that is displaying our subscription account details, the program shuts down.

Does anyone have experience deploying Trados Studio as a virtual app? Were you able to get it to work? Is Trados Studio blocking Citrix WorkSpace or is this perhaps a bug?
