Hello Trados Community.
I have to deliver a project on Monday morning, October 9. I need urgently help
But I can no longer open my Studio 2019 version and therefore open my project too.
I have this rrror message at startup:
there is an unclosed string literal in the XML document (14135,98)
I've made absolutely no changes to my project parameters.
Who can help me to fix this issue?

Could be caused by working with OneDrive for example and having your projects file in a OneDrive folder... so if this is the case you should think about addressing that.
In the meantime:
1. Go to C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Studio 2019\Projects
2. Rename Projects.xml to Projects_old.xml
3. Re-open SDL Trados Studio
You will have to open your projects again by using the Open Project command (Ctrl+O) and selecting each project you are working on to bring them back into the Studio interface. But your project won't be lost, it'll just be removed from the UI until you open it again.

Yes indeed, I have the project in an OneDrive directory path but I couldn't imagine it would cause some issues.
I don't know how to remove this One drive path for my Studio projects.
It's the first time it happens.
I will try your solution asap.

Should I then rename Projects_old.xml in Projects_xml again after having opened my project(s)?
I made a save copy of Projects..xml and copied it in another directory.

You did restart Studio?
If you did then perhaps the sdlproj is corrupt, in which case try opening the sdlxliff files in the target language folder as translatable files. Or recreate the project and pretranslate from your TM.
It sounds as though you will have a small recovery job there.

I can start Studio 2019 but the projects list is empty.
Of course it is, you just renamed the projects.xml! So now you start afresh.
The next step would be to open the sdlproj file for each project you want back in your list. You use the Open Project command for this... not open file.

Yes : " I recreated the project and pretranslated from your TM."
And it has worked well. Only a few segments weren't set on 100% but I could translate or complete them manually.
I can now create my return packages for each job.
