Hello,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble exporting the target file in Trados Studio. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve this issue:
Step 1: Open your project in Trados Studio.
Step 2: Go to the "Files" view.
Step 3: Right-click on the file you want to export and select "Batch Tasks".
Step 4: From the drop-down menu, select "Export Files".
Step 5: In the dialog box that appears, make sure that "Target files" is selected under "File type to export".
Step 6: Click "Next" and follow the prompts to choose the location where you want to save the exported file.
Step 7: Click "Finish" to start the export process.
If you're still seeing the source and target texts mixed up, it might be due to the preview settings. To change this:
Step 1: Go to the "View" tab in Trados Studio.
Step 2: Click on "Display Filter".
Step 3: In the dialog box that appears, make sure that "Source" is unchecked and "Target" is checked.
Step 4: Click "OK" to apply the changes.
I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. If you're still having trouble, please let me know!

can you explain step by step how you are trying to export the target file?
can you also provide a screenshot (you can simply copy paste an image in to here) of your files view and also tell us what languages you are translating from and to?

I have managed to view the target file in hdml but in word the characters do not appear correctly , something to do with the colour of the characters; I have to select the whole page and change the colour of the characters. I don't know why. Thank you so much for your help, I can now export my target file.
