I've seen a similar problem on a previous version of Studio (2014).

It looks like (what I think are auto save, the auto-save interval set matches the creation of the files) temporary files are not purged even after you exit Studio 2021 SR2 16.2.12.9338.
They are located in c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\temp\, and must be deleted manually.
I use Windows 10 Home.
This eats up the disk space quick, especially if many files are open at the same time.
Is it possible to limit the size of the temp files created?
