Hi,
we have this issue quite often with Trados:
you have a segment containing tags (not talking about formatting tags but tags for placeholders, variables, aso.) and when you confirm the segment it gets propagated BUT Trados removes some of these important tags. How can I force Trados to propagate everything as an exact copy of the segment I just confirmed without touching/removing the tags at all.
Due to this we get strings like this:
This is some text with <tag1> and <tag2>.
to be autopropagated to:
This is some text with and <tag2>.
If you have jobs where such strings are propagated a few hundred times, this becomes more than a problem because you cannot even go and just search and replace them but have to check each segment one by one and add 1 or more missing tags and hopefully you don't accept prompts to propagate to other segments, else you can start from scratch.
