translation memories

Question

Hi my name is Charlotte 
 I have been working for a while with Trados, filling in the new files and all looks fine 
 When I insert a new file in a project, the terms already translated are retrieved all right so to me it means that Studio has learnt the terms and they must be stored in some place 
 I do not find this place 
 Could anyone help me ? 
 I realized I had created TM files but they do not contain all the segments they should!! Probably I did something wrong or forgot to setup some tool?

Hi Charlotte, 
 One possibility is that you used a Project Memory for the tranlation and are now looking in your Main memory. So maybe you can go to the Project Settings of a project where it did work, open up the Language Pairs -> All language pairs -> Translation Memory and Automated Translation , and then hover over the name of the TMs. This will show you the path. 
 Maybe this will help? 
 Otherwise a search for sdltm across your computer as Jerzy Czopik suggested may be the best bet.
