Importing a bilingual file in DOCX format from Phrase Memsource into Trados

Hi Everyone,

I have Trados 2021 and was trying to import a bilingual file in DOCX format from Phrase Memsource into Trados. The file did not import well. The Source and Target languages both ended up in the Source pane of Trados Editor. Since I had translation memory, the translation came out in the Target pane.
The word count of the imported file was twice as much as the original source file.
Does anybody know how to import a bilingual file in DOCX format from Phrase Memsource into Trados 2021 and have the source in the source pane and the target language in the target pane?

The AI is hallucinating a bit.  If you want to import a file from Phrase don't use the DOCX bilingual.  This is not a true bilingual file, it's just a DOCX with columns formatted wth the source and target text.  If you open this inStudio it'll be picked up as a simple Word file since this is really all it is.  It's similar to the Trados Bilingual Review file which is designed for a completely different purpose where the review takes place in Word and not in a CAT tool.

You need to get the Phrase XLIFF and then you can can have source and target in your Trados project.
