I guess you can close the application of that file.

ok, I guess you closed the application to get here. What kind of file is that? I mean, is it a PNG, JPG, EXE, DLL? All of these files are non-translatable.

Is the file open in another application? Possibly in PowerPoint or in a crashed instance of PPT? Or in a browser? Does the same problem occur after restart of your PC?

No, the file was not open and indeed the problem kept occurring after I restarted the PC.
Can you open that PPTX file in PowerPoint?
Then tell us your version of Studio. Are you working on a Mac?

When you open it, you have editable text, right?
Could you try saving it in your root Documents folder?

This file has editable text and images.
I converted the PPT document to a Word document and I could create the project.
