I translated an IDML file in Trados 2021 but now when trying to generate the target file, I get the following error messages:

Trados Studio error message displaying 'True' is an unexpected token at line 1, position 1901 in file 240325_PCHX_PLX_Turbo_DE_Entwurf1.idml.sdlxliff.

Pop-up error message in Trados Studio stating 'True' is an unexpected token with expected tokens being double or single quotes at line 1, position 1901.

Did you run the Tag Verification Checker? If so, does it report any issues with tags, mainly missing tags? First fix any tag issues and then try again to generate the target file.

Weird… Unless it’s a really small document, usually there are errors or warnings… Do you confirm that you are running the Tag Verification?

My guess is something must happen in the SDL XLIFF file, or something gets corrupted, but what and where? I could edit the SDL XLIFF file in Notepad++ to remediate the issue, but I don't know what I'm looking for in the file....

QA settings are fine, I’d uncheck Ignore formatting tags, but I don’t think this is going to help…

BTW: Did you merge segments in this project?

Hi Jesus, after unchecking Ignore formatting tags, Trados showed a different error message and pin pointed where there was a tag issue in a segment. After remediation, I could generate the target files.
