Hi Bettina,
If the error message is 'additional tag ... in segment', did you add a formatting tag that was not in the source? I have to say that this would not normally cause a problem unless it was a complex formatting addition.
Have you looked at the source segment to see if there is target language content that is not in the source segment? This could be anything that would be represented by tags in an sdlxliff file, or an image, or a Word-based item that is not translated/represented correctly or is duplicated unexpectedly through either the Word conversion or the translation process.
Sorry if that is obscure as an explanation! If you need further explanation as to what a 'tag' is, just ask.
A good way to test if the source content is the problem is to create a new project based on the original source file without translating it and see if you can export the file to Word untranslated. If you can't then it is likely that there is something in the original Word file (often an image) that needs closer attention (or simple removal and replacement after translation) to make the file transition smooth again.
That gives you a good starting point from which to continue constructively.
I'm here to reply to your further queries plus if you want to learn more about tag anomalies or any other aspect of working with Trados, can I also suggest you take advantage of the new ideas for training hub that Paul has recently set up, where people can add requests for informal training sessions:

Dear Ali,
thank you so much for your reply. I was quite hopeless about it for a while and tried everything. Since I had quite a lot of tags in that segment, I used the action "copy source segment into target segment" and just changed the text to make sure that all the tags are the same as in the target segment. It still didn't let me export. But then I just removed the whole translation of that segment and suddenly it allowed me to export it. Thankfully, there was only a problem with this one segment... otherwise it would have been a bit more annoying. I was able to solve my problem in the end, but I will try your tip in the future if I have similar problems.
Thank you again and take care,
Bettina ^^
If you merged segments, this might be the cause here. Should you have done this, there is no way to undo, so you will need to retranslate the file from the TM without merging segments with tags. No tags in segment: merging, even over paragraph breaks, is usually safe. Tags in segment: merging may be unsafe. Tags like field, picture, bookmark or similar: merging of segments is unsafe.
