Via a remote session w e managed to solve the issue by changing the config file of Studio with the help of this article: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000016994 . We then started Studio as Admin but we still could not activate it online. We activated Studio 2017 offline and it is working fine now.
