Hi,
as I cannot find any information on that in the documentation, I just wanted to know if Trados Studio 2024 and companions (Multiterm, aso.) are finally 64 bit programmes?
Best regards,
Pascal

This is still a work on progress. It’ll be in the release notes once it’s done.

Hi Paul,
Any news on this? Just last week I had Trados crash with an OutOfMemoryException while trying to save a file with 83000 segments. We regularly face problems with Trados' limited ability to handle large files because it is still 32 bit and can't properly use all the available computer memory. It is quite frustrating...
Thanks,
Christophe Keller
As I said, keep an eye on the release notes for when this does happen.
Also, you could review the ideas where this one, clearly the most voted, was updated last week:
The comment from the product team is this:
"After a lot of preparation in the overall infrastructure, this work has now kicked off. It will still be a while to be delivered but we are making tangible progress across many required areas."
But best to keep an eye on that.

OK, thanks for getting back to me, Paul.
