I'm sure she didn't! You need to take a look at the original source Excel and see if this has a space? I saved the source from your sdlxliff and it clearly does:

It's a Bilingual Excel, we read Column B as Source, Column D as Target.
I can't find the space.
It's here in the source:
I tested this with your source file in 2024 and the space is not transferred over. Perhaps your translator used an older version of Trados Studio, copied the source to target automatically... or something like that.
I can't really tell you more than this. All I know is that the sdlxliff you provided has the space in there as you can see.
I also know that the source has this space there too... so is there really a problem with this?

Image you provided is not a space.
It's "【" mark.
I see that now... I missed that these are Chinese full-width brackets (【 】), which occupy more horizontal space than the standard ASCII square brackets ([ ]). However, that doesn't take away from the original conclusion.
The space is actually in the SDLXLIFF. If you view all content to look between the segments you'll see it here:

Can I open sdlxliff file with notepad++ or VScode and remove this space?
I can't find this space.
You can remove it in Studio doing exactly what I showed above. Display All Content then just delete it.
