First time I encounter this problem. I work with Trados 2022. Here are my TM settings, with customized fields:
But when I confirm a segment, it saves the wrong fields:
How is this possible, and how do I fix it?

Ha! I think I got it. (To answer your question, it was not in a project but a single file.)
What happened was this: I input the data in the fields to be updated in the "All language pairs" section only, but I didn't do the same in the specific language pair below... So it used the old field entries instead of the new ones.
I went in and mirrored the fields in both, and now it works!
