Trados documentation -- cannot print out whole texts

It used to be possible to print the documentation, page by page -- i.e. when you selected Ctrl+P you would see all the text of the documentation page in the print preview page. (And some years previously, there was, I believe, a specific printout button.) But now, all I get in the preview page is the first part of the text that I see on the screen. This makes it virtually impossible to print many pages, as I have previously done (very useful for my way of learning Trados).

Is it now totally impossible to print the screen pages other than one image at a time?

  • I'm pretty sure nobody else makes printouts like I do: I printout everything and make books; for 2024 it's ten of them. (Usually I only print those part which are different from the previous version, but this time I went whole hog in order to have everything up-to-date. And yes, I know it's only up-to-date for some time, but that's enough for me).

I use this for digging deep into Studio and the cloud functions for updating the Studio manual which I have now been publishing since Studio 2009 and updated for each Studio version, usually also providing new editions about every six months.

So yes, I understand this is no common need; it's just that it was very useful to be able to make printouts even if the very top line on follow-up pages was lost.

And I would be surprised if not other users from time to time find it useful to be able to printout some parts, albeit probably small, of the documentation. Not all of it is available as pdf's, and the pdf's are not always updated in keeping with the screen documentation.

    Kind regards,

    Mats
