Message error "The requested data file cannot be located" - "impossible de localiser le fichier de données demandé"

Hello, in November 2024, I bought an upgrade from Trados 2019 to 2024, but I discovered that my computer was too old (Windows 8.1) to support this new version. My 2019 Trados was still working until recently, the message error is "The requested data file cannot be located" and Trados can't open. I would like to wait some more months to buy a new computer. I read the question/answer of similar problems, but it was not clear to me (and with that problem of new/old licences) Is there a solution to my situation ?

    Hi  

    You already processed the upgrade to Trados 2024, so Trados 2019 won't work anymore. Have you tried installing Trados 2024 on your Windows 8 PC as a temporary solution to this?

    What do you mean installing ? When I tried to use it (activating Trados Studio 2024 Freelance), it did not want to open.

    Error message on a computer screen stating 'Trados Studio has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.' with a 'Close program' button.

    and the support answered me : "Unfortunately, Trados Studio 2024 is not compatible with Windows 8.1, and will only run on the latest build of Windows 11 and Windows 10." And it's not certain that the result of an upgrade to Windows 10-11 on my computer will be successul. I feel trapped.
