When I double-click to open the sdltm file, the characters are garbled (Trados 2022)

Until then, double-clicking the sdltm file would open it without any garbled characters,

but now a different icon (icon for a text file) is assigned to the sdltm file than the green and yellow icon.

I performed from [Control Panel] -> [Uninstall/Change > Repair] and restarted my PC, but the same problem still persists.

OS = Windows 11 (64 bit)
Trados version: Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.11.19134

    Presumably they are garbled because it's opening in a text editor and not because it's corrupted?

    If a repair doesn't resolve it then try associating the *.sdltm with Trados Studio:

    • Open Settings (Win + I).
    • Go to Apps > Default apps.
    • Scroll down and click Choose defaults by file type.
    • Locate the file extension (e.g., .sdltm).
    • Click the current app and select the correct application.

    Should end up looking like this:

    Windows Settings screen showing 'Choose default apps by file type' with a list of file extensions and associated applications. The '.sdltm' file extension is highlighted with Trados Studio selected as the default app.
