Cannot use "Create project package" because selecting "Users" crashes Trados Studio 2024

Only one one PC, we have the same exact issue as described below:

File > Settings > Users makes Trados Studio 2022 freeze

Doing a full reset and re-installation allowed us to click on "Users" without crashing.
However, as soon as we tried adding a name, it crashed again.

The PC is using Windows 11 and is in Japanese. This seems like an issue with saving/loading the UserSettings file, but any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Based on your description, it seems like you're experiencing a crash when trying to add a user in Trados Studio 2024. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

Step 1: Ensure that your Trados Studio is up-to-date. You can check for updates within the application.

Step 2: Try running Trados Studio as an administrator. Right-click on the Trados Studio icon and select 'Run as administrator'.

Step 3: If the issue persists, you might want to try repairing your Trados Studio installation. You can do this by going to 'Control Panel' > 'Programs' > 'Programs and Features', select Trados Studio, and then click 'Repair'.

Step 4: Check if .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later is installed on your PC, as this is required for Trados Studio to function properly. If not, please install it.

Step 5: If the issue still persists, it might be related to a corrupted UserSettings file. Try deleting the UserSettings.xml file located in the Trados Studio installation folder and then restart Trados Studio. Please note that this will reset your user settings to default.
