The batch task Verify is not available

Hello, I am trying to run Verify as a batch task, but the Batch Tasks list is empty.

I selected the files that I'd like to verify after finishing my review, clicked on Batch Tasks, but nothing is displayed.

Could someone please assist? It was working fine until yesterday, I made no changes since then, there are no updates available, and there are no error messages or notifications.

I am using Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.12.19268.

This normally happens if you have not saved the project, or if you finalised it or ran some other batch task, like generate target files.  The project becomes closed.  Solution is to right-click on your file in the Files View and select Revert to SDLXLIFF.  Then the batch tasks should become available to you again.

To just check a translated file in its target form mid-way through a project I'd use "Save Target As",or Shift+F12, under the File menu when the file is open in the Editor.

  • Hi , thank you for your reply, but I haven't done any of these things. They are still xliffs (as you can see by the screenshot below, the revert option is not even available).

Screenshot showing a part of the Trados Studio interface with two options: 'Revert to SDLXLIFF' which is greyed out and 'Run TQA Report'.

ok - in that case right-click on the project and see if you can revert the project to in progress... or is that greyed too?

  • Hi , the option is showing, but I am working on this project with another person who is still translating some of the files (I am the reviewer). Her current files are locked, I am working just on the ones available to me that I checked out from the server. Would this change to the whole project folder affect her work?
