Segments not changing to draft status when changes are made

Question

In all previous documents I have translated in Studio, when I alter the text in a confirmed segment, the status changes to "draft". 
 Today, I am working on an .sdlxliff file that someone sent me to translate, however, if I translate a segment, confirm it, and then go back to alter some text in it, the segment remains confirmed, i.e. it doesn't revert to draft status. How can I force the document into the default mode of reverting to draft status automatically when a change is made in the segment?

Yes Walter, I had imagined it was a setting this document has that I am not aware of. 
 However, today I shut down Studio and reopened everything and the issue has resolved itself. This really was happening, I wasn't imagining it :-) 
 Look, here's what the TM and the editor segment looked like at the same time:

So, there's my answer: "try restarting the application".

Glad you managed to resolve the issue. 
 
One hint if a similar situation comes up again: before restarting Studio, click on "Reset Window Layout" in the "View" ribbon. This often resolves issues related to the graphics engine.
