Hello,
Based on your description, it seems like you're encountering an error when trying to load an mthits file in Hitlist Settings in Trados Studio and MultiTerm 2022 SR2. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Step 1: Ensure that both Trados Studio and MultiTerm are updated to the latest version. You can check for updates in the 'Help' menu of each application.
Step 2: Try to shut down Trados Studio and MultiTerm, then restart your computer. This can sometimes resolve issues related to object references.
Step 3: If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling MultiTerm. Please remember to back up your terminology databases first to prevent any data loss.
Step 4: If the problem continues, consider uninstalling the current version of Trados Studio and reverting to the version you were using previously.
Step 5: If none of the above steps work, you might need to restart Trados GroupShare services.
Please try these steps and let us know if the issue persists.

I have either done these steps, or I would rather not attempt them (I need to work with my current version).

Hello,
I understand that you have already tried some troubleshooting steps and you need to work with your current version of Trados Studio and MultiTerm 2022 SR2. Here are some additional steps you can try:
Step 1: Check the integrity of the mthits file you are trying to load. It's possible that the file is corrupted or not compatible with your current version of Trados Studio and MultiTerm.
Step 2: Try to load a different mthits file to see if the issue is specific to the file you are currently trying to load.
Step 3: Check your system's permissions. Make sure that Trados Studio and MultiTerm have the necessary permissions to access and modify the mthits file.
Step 4: If the issue persists, you may need to contact the RWS AppStore for a possible patch or fix.

Can you provide the full error message? Object Reference is a bit too generic... what we need to see is the full error message you get when you click on the small disk symbol in the error message wondow.
