I found it simply by searching in Google. The newer article you pointed me to has a fix that works. Thank you! However if you open the fixed files, Trados breaks them again. Also, in the article it says that the root cause is that sdlxliff files may get corrupted in OLDER versions of Trados Studio when the underlying xliff file contains source comments and
several sdlxliff files are opened via virtual merge. I'm using the latest version of Trados Studio and it is still breaking such files. It would be good to get this bug fixed in an update of Trados.
