Error message when attempting to load bilingual CSV file into Trados

I am attempting to load a bilingual CSV file into Trados Studio (2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338) for editing. The parameters I'm setting are in the first screenshot below. The problem is that when I attempt to open the file in Trados, I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" message, and no translatable rows appear in the editor (see second screenshot). I've pasted the xml information attached to the error message below. Can anyone help me with next steps? Thanks.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems you are encountering the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error when trying to load a bilingual CSV file into Trados Studio 2021. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

    **Step 1:** **Check Parameters**

Ensure that the parameters you are setting for the CSV file are correct. If possible, share the specific settings you are using, as incorrect configurations can lead to errors.

    **Step 2:** **Reset Trados Studio**

Perform a reset of Trados Studio settings. You can do this by following the steps outlined in the SDL article: [Resetting Trados Studio](gateway.sdl.com/.../000001414. This can help resolve issues related to corrupted settings.

**Step 3:** **Update Multilingual Excel File Type**

    **Step 4:** **Check for Updates**

Make sure that your Trados Studio is updated to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates within the application to ensure you have the most recent fixes and improvements.

    **Step 5:** **Recreate the File**

If the issue persists, consider opening the CSV file in a program like Excel and saving it again. This can sometimes resolve formatting issues that may be causing the error.

    **Step 6:** **Contact Support**
