Hello,
I work with an agency that sends me .ttx files which I can usually work with without any issues, however, I've recently noticed that when using their TMs, I upgrade the .tmw to an .sdltm but I'm then unable to do concordance searches. Is this something anyone else has come across? I ask them to update the memory to an .sdltm file and I'm then able to use it properly which leads me to believe the issues is on my end.

Hi Christopher,
One possibility I guess is that the original Trados TM is full of old RTF tagging, so much so it is preventing decent matches. You could try upgrading with this application rather than through Studio as it removes all the unnecessary formattting that can fill these old TMs, especially with some languages:
Alternatively try lowering your match value for concordance and see if that helps?

If you think that would help, I'd really appreciate it. [To give you some more info, I'm currently proofreading a file and when I open for review it gives no concordance results, but when I open for translation it does.]
Where should I send the TM to?
EDIT: Please ignore parts between [ ], I just realised this was something else relating to window layout, the issue of not finding results in the concordance search in .tmw memories updated by myself is still an issue regardless of Translation/Reviewing.
