Unfortunately, it didn't work out because I have Trados 2022 and the instructions are only for versions up to Trados 2019.

No problem, and thanks a lot. I have tried but there must be a problem, because after renaming the file Default.sdltpl in Default.sdtpl_old, it doesn't recreate the Default file automatically, and I still see the same error.

You need to rename that file with Trados Studio closed. It will be recreated next time you launh Trados Studio.

Before doing so, please make sure that there is no more than one Default template in File > Setup > Project Templates; if there are more, please remove the other ones.

Yes, I did it. I had only one Default template.

Do you have any other RWS application running, such MultiTerm? If so, please close it as well.

If Trados Studio still doesn’t generate the project template, could you please post this screenshot?

I have double-checked, every RWS application is closed.

The Default template is there, with corrct timestamp; the old one is not there (did you delete it?). I can’t see the full path, but I guess it’s right.

No, I didn't delete it. What should the old one have looked like?

Like this (I followed the steps of renaming):

As you can see, I renamed the extension (SDLTPL to SDLTPL old). You may have renamed the file name instead, but the outcome should be the same, I guess… 

Did you change manually the path to this template? If you don’t know, you probably didn’t do it.

I’m running out of ideas. Maybe Paul can help you.
