I used Google Translate for years. But ever since I upgraded to Studio 2015, Google Translate results only appear in the results pane, but they won't populate the target segments. I have to click Ctrl + T in each segment for the translation to show up in the target segment. I tried the Pre-Translate option, but it still won't work. Any tips?

Hi Noha,
You probably set up your previous version of Studio years ago and forgot you ever did it! Try going to File -> Options -> Editor -> Automation and then check "Apply automated translation when no TM match is found".

I tried your solution, but the Google MT results still only show in the Translation results window.
I've tried to pre-translate a file with both the MT Enhanced Trados Plugin, as well as the Google Cloud Translation API automated translation options, but the results never populate the target segments. I have to press Ctrl-T every time.
I even tried switching off my own TM to see if that would help the MT to pre-translate properly, but it didn't.
My scenario might be a little different here, as I'm trying to pre-translate the entire file, instead of let the results be populated in the target segments as I go along, but either way, I'd prefer not having to press Ctrl-T thousands of times.
Please could you help?

Hi Nathanael,
For pre-translation in an existing project you need to go to Project Settings - All Language Pairs - Batch Processing - Pre-translate Files, then go to the very last option and check Apply automated translation under When no match is found. After doing this, run the Pre-translate batch task on your files.
