Bien cordialement,

Ombeline Petit - Spherical

Question improvement suggestion: Provide specific details about the settings you have checked and any error messages you may have encountered during the pre-translation process.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello Ombeline,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you're experiencing with the "Pre-translate files" function in Trados Studio Professional 2024. Let's go through some steps to troubleshoot this problem:

**Step 1:** Verify that the Translation Memory (TM) you are using is up-to-date. If the project was created recently, ensure that it includes the latest TM units.

**Step 2:** Double-check the settings in your project. Make sure that the "Apply automatic translation" option is indeed checked in the pre-translation settings.

**Step 3:** Since you mentioned that you have tried resetting Trados, ensure that you have also checked for any updates to the software. Sometimes, bugs can be resolved with the latest updates.

**Step 4:** If the issue persists, try creating a new project and running the "Pre-translate files" task again. This can help determine if the original project file is corrupted.

**Step 5:** As a workaround, you can also try using only the Language Weaver Cloud provider for pre-translation after initially pre-translating with your Group Share TMs.

**Step 6:** If none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide any error messages you may have encountered or additional details about the settings you have checked. This information will help in diagnosing the problem further.

Cela fonctionnait jusqu'alors.

    Bien cordialement

Question improvement suggestion: Specify if there are any particular settings or configurations you have checked that might affect the pre-translation process.

    Hello Ombeline,

Thank you for your follow-up regarding the issue with the "Pre-translate files" function in Trados Studio Professional 2024. Since you mentioned that there are no error messages and that the software is up to date, let's explore a few additional troubleshooting steps:

**Step 1:** Since the issue seems to be isolated to your specific license, ensure that the Translation Memory (TM) you are using is indeed the same as the one used on the other workstations where the pre-translation is functioning correctly.

**Step 2:** Check the project settings again, particularly under the "Translation Memories and Automated Translation" section. Ensure that the "Apply automatic translation" option is still checked and that the correct TM is selected.

**Step 3:** As a precaution, try creating a new project from scratch and see if the pre-translation works there. This can help identify if the original project file has any underlying issues.

**Step 4:** If the problem persists, consider disabling any other Translation Memories temporarily, leaving only the Language Weaver Cloud plugin enabled, and then attempt the pre-translation again.

**Step 5:** Lastly, if none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide any specific settings you have checked or any additional details that might help in diagnosing the problem further.
