AT category in analysis results

Would it be possible to include AT as a category in Analysis or Translation Count?

As an example, I would like to see how many AT segments got modified during post-editing. I'm using the PE Compare app, but now it turns out that this app gives completely different segment count than Studio. In the project all segments below 70% were handled in AT, so for the analysis I changed the fuzzy bands (to make sure everything up to 70% gets counted as new words),  the segment count in Studio is completely different than in the PE Compare app. I figure some of the repetitions might also be included in AT content, but there is no way to see this clearly in Studio. Or is there?

  • Hi Dace,

I guess the first point would be that AT results would probably be no matches in the analysis because the AT would only be triggered when no match was found.

The second point is that PE Compare is going to look at all the changed segments and not just AT since this is what it's designed to do. So I can see this is a tricky thing to measure like this.

Probably the only way is as you suggest (you've clearly thought this through already!!), to have AT included as a separate category and then also have PE Compare recognise this too. I'll ask the developer and see what he thinks.

    Regards
