Trados has started asking me to sign in to http://cloud.sdlgroupshare.com/

Hello!

Even though I don't have any projects open (nor translation memories or termbases), and Trados is updated to the latest version (Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657)
I keep getting a pop up in Trados that asks me to log in to http://cloud.sdlgroupshare.com/

Logging into Trados cloud did not help.

How to fix that?

Question improvement suggestion: Provide more details about any error messages received and clarify if you have tried any specific troubleshooting steps.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

Hello! It seems you're experiencing an issue with Trados Studio prompting you to sign in to the SDL GroupShare Cloud, even when you don't have any projects open. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

**Step 1:** Ensure you are using the correct URL for logging into the Language Cloud. The correct URL is [https://languagecloud.sdl.com/](languagecloud.sdl.com/).

**Step 2:** Check if you have any firewall or antivirus settings that might be blocking the connection. You may need to add exceptions for the following URLs:

    - lc-api.sdl.com

    - languagecloud.sdl.com

    - sdl-prod.eu.auth0.com

**Step 3:** If you have not done so already, try renaming the folder for the SDL Language Cloud Terminology Provider. You can do this by navigating to:

    `C:\Users\%username%\App Data\Roaming\SDL\`

and renaming the folder `SDL Language Cloud Terminology Provider` to `SDL Language Cloud Terminology Provider_OLD`. Then, reopen Trados Studio and attempt to log in again.

**Step 4:** If the issue persists, consider running the TLS 1.2 registry fix as mentioned in your context. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues with cloud services.

**Step 5:** If you are part of a company, check with the owner of the Trados Live account to ensure you have the necessary permissions to access the cloud features.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide any error messages you may be receiving, as this can help in diagnosing the problem further.
