I enabled source editing in project settings, opened the file as single file and the segment I wan to edit is not locked. However, if I right-click on segment and select "edit source", the cursor jumps to the first segment in my file and allows editing only that. How can I edit other segments? I created the project myself.

Just trying to exclude the obvious: is your cursor in the target segment when you select a segment? You can't make a segment active by clicking on the left part (source), which in my eyes is a problem because when you want to edit the source, you intuitively click on the source segment. I already suggested that SDL should change this and allow to select a segment by clicking on the source part.
