Verification problem in QA checker SDL Studio 2014

We have a problem with the QA checker in Studio. As you can see below in segment 168, the highlighted (yellow) number does not show up in the QA check.
For some reason, number 16 in the target segment is marked (extra number in target segment), but not number 8.
Why does not number 8 show up in the error list?
How are we supposed to find this mistake if it does not show up as a mistake?

  • Good idea Daniel,

Although maybe it's good to explain what each one is checking or nobody will know what they are for. This for example won't find M2 on it's own, or M2.5 for example, so what would this be for?

I guess you could use this:

    (\w*\d+\w{0,})

Which is almost the same result as the more convoluted one I came up with... just treats patterns containing a dot as separate results and this could also cause a false result depending on what you're after. But has the drawback of also picking up number only.

I like this stuff though... always more than one way to skin a cat!!

    Thanks for sharing it.

    Regards

    Paul
