display text in editor with e.g. 1.5 line spacing

Is there a way to display text in the editor with e.g. 1.5 line spacing? I find it very difficult and fatiguing to read the text in the editor when it is displays in 1 line spacing. Is ther a way to change this?

Thanks for any suggestions, Best, Carola

  • Hi Carola, you didn't state which version you're using but the solution is going to be to make the text larger. There is no mechanism to make the spacing alone larger. Depending on the version you either do this through File -> Editor -> Font Adaptation or is you have Studio 2014 and above you can use the ribbon command in the View menu when the file is open in the Editor (it's on the far right)

  • Thanks, Paul. It's 2015 and I've already enlarge the font size - sorry I didn't mention this in my post. It would be great if there was such spacing option. I often have very long segments with a highly complex structure that cannot be split. I can hardly read them in the editor, espcecially if a have many words that are recogized in the termbases, it is then just an inunadation of red, blue and many, many letters cluttering together. BTW, is there a way to disable the red and blue marking? I have tried and searched the help file, but have found no solution (probably my fault, as the help files are really useful).
And I do appreciate this forum and the ease of obtaining infos. Thanks for that, too.
