High resolution Display: command menus overlapping and ultra small user interface

I have just changed my PC with a new HP Envy Windows 10 I7 with high resolution (3200x 1800 dpi) screen.

Now, all command menus (e.g command toolbar, project list and even start window during startup) appears overlapping and "cropping" and all texts are not completely diplayed...

I've seen some suggestion on SDL Knowledge base (http://kb.sdl.com/#tab:homeTab:crumb:7:artId:4959) but all appears quite hard to implement (I only tried Workaround 1) for a "normal" PC user... Does anybody know a more simple solution?

Thanks

Giovanni

  • ok - I'm afraid the KB is the only way to go as we don't fully support Hi-Res yet. I think if you step through it one part at a time the solution isn't too hard to follow. I tried this a couple of times on laptops belonging to some of our users at a conference last year, workaround 3, and it worked on all but one of them.

So give it a go, it's easier than it looks. If you're really struggling and can't follow the instructions then let me know and perhaps we can arrange a skype session and I can try and help you through it.

    Regards
