Multiple Language Template

I have a multiple language project.  When I set up the project for the multiple languages I end up with each branch header having all the languages beneath that language.   Please see the example below.

I would prefer to have the file(s) for all of French under French and all the files for Italian under Italian without having the other language combinations in that sub-folder as well.

What am I doing wrong?

  • I have the same problem, except that I cannot use just one set of source files. I use the translation workflow in SDL Knowledge Center to create localisable target files. These exported XML files have the appropriate locale in the file name:

    Introduction=GUID-7DE4BEDE-8882-45A9-B7E8-EA267F578BEE=14=de=.xml

    and in the file header:

    <?ish ishref="GUID-7DE4BEDE-8882-45A9-B7E8-EA267F578BEE" version="14" lang="fr" srclng="en"?>
    <topic id="GUID-7DE4BEDE-8882-45A9-B7E8-EA267F578BEE" xml:lang="fr">

    These are necessary so that the files can be imported correctly into Knowledge Center after translation.

    Is there a way to have Trados recognise the source language from these identifiers so I can avoid the file replication issue?

    Thanks
