Before you get through the entire hassle of installation: let me point out once more that Studio will not allow you to do an automated translation in offline mode. It will require human interaction to either have the human translator translate or use an automated translation engine to pretranslate and let the translator post-edit it. But automated pretranslation will require online access to the machine translation engine.

In the earlier discussion I heard SDL will work offline and only Machine Translation requires online mode

As per the converstion I had with

SDL Trados Studio will work offline, so it works without being connected to the internet.

 You must be connected to the internet to be able to use Machine Translation to automatically translate one language to another. Which one can be assured? Please update at the earliest

It is exactly as you have quoted.  I think we should have a call because this thread is going nowhere.  I think you need some help to understand how this all works and it will be easier to show you than to allow this conversation to go on any further.  Let me know if you would be available for a call later today, Skype or Webex, and we can clear this up.

I went to welcome screen-> Translate Single document-> passed a word doc file with English content in SDL Trans Trial Version. added a Translate Memory file as per the language pair. Then editor windows came up with the source content shown. Translation content is bank. Any to do?

Now you translate the segment!  It won't do it for you unless you connect a machine translation engine like Language Cloud for example, and even then it's unlikely to be good enough 100% of the time.  So you have to correct it.  I'm sorry we can't arrange a call because you clearly need to spend some time on the basics.  I suggest you review these things for a start:

So in order to use Machine Translation internet connectivity will be required naa. We need a offline language translator entirely.
