Error message Studio 2014

Hello

I have Windows 7 + the freelance version of SDL Trados Studio 2014.

I had no problem importing the files from docx, but now after the translation is finished it won't give me the target text files.

I receive the following message: 

<ErrorMessage>'', hexidezimaler Wert 0x1E, ist ein ungültiges Zeichen. Zeile 5, Position 59.</ErrorMessage>

There is only a number in line 5, nothing untoward. I have tried and deleted this line and still it didn't work. I copied the file as pdf and still get the same message and fail to open a target file. 

Can anyone pleaaaase help [:'(]

    I just tried to attach a text file but couldn't find the right button...

    just find the way to attach files: first, zip your files. then click in the post "replay, then "use rich formatting", then the insert/edit media icon, choose "computer" and browse your zip-files.

    Hello Ulrike,
    thanks for sharing the file. Here the analyse I've done in case other users read this:

    there were 2 problems:
    1. 2 forbidden characters &#x1E; have caused the error shown in the initial post. It should be enough to search and replace "&#x1E;" in the sdlxliff with a text editor (I use Notepad++).
    2. it was still not possible to save the target. It was also not possible to save the source, that's why a new file preparation with another filetype should be tested. If save source works, then save target should be possible.

    My mistake: save target worked in 2014... The problem seems to be solved with step 1 only. ...I used Studio 2015 the first time!
