Is there any way to stop focus moving to the Termbase viewer window every time I add a term pair to my TB using the Quick Add New Term KBS? I would like it to remain on my Term Recognition window, which I keep open and visible to the right.

Also, what is the difference between:
Quick Add New Term + Add New Term?
They seem to do the same thing.
Hi Michael,
Where do you have your Termbase viewer? If you also keep it open at all times, maybe above or below the Term recognition pane, focus changes to the viewer when new terms are added but it's not distracting, as term recognition remains visible.
Quick Add New Term is a newer feature than Add New Term. With Quick Add New Term, the term is added to the termbase and saved right away. This is for when you don't need to make any edits to your term. It allows you to work very fast, especially if you have an easy to reach, quick shortcut. I use F11 for this.
Add New Term adds the term to the termbase but requires an extra step to save it. This can be useful when you want to add a term that will need some editing. For example, let's say I select a plural term from my source and target, but want to save it in singular form to my termbase. After using Add New Term, the entry remains open (and unsaved) in the viewer.

Thanks Nora!
Yes, that's more or less what I'm doing now (albeit the other way around): I am currently keeping both the Term recognition pane and the Termbase viewer pane on the right, one above the other. The only difference is that I have the Term recognition pane on top. However, because there is never really enough space on any monitor, I would much prefer to have only the Term recognition pane visible, and the Termbase pane auto-hidden.
Thanks also for explaining the difference between Quick Add New Term + Add New Term. Sadly, because of a bug (see image below), I am currently unable to do any editing at all in the Termbase viewer. The instant I click on anything or try to edit anything, the following pops up:
I have tried all kinds of things to fix this: I have run Repairs on all of the SDL programs, actually even uninstalled and reinstalled both MultiTerm and Studio from the original installers. I checked that I have all of the latest Windows Updates. Etc. Nothing helps. I can only edit my TBs in Multiterm itself.

PS: seems I am not the only one with this problem: http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/299758-cannot_edit_term_in_studio_2015_sr2.html
