Stop focus going to Termbase viewer window after using Quick Add New Term KBS?

Is there any way to stop focus moving to the Termbase viewer window every time I add a term pair to my TB using the Quick Add New Term KBS? I would like it to remain on my Term Recognition window, which I keep open and visible to the right.

Yes, that's more or less what I'm doing now (albeit the other way around): I am currently keeping both the Term recognition pane and the Termbase viewer pane on the right, one above the other. The only difference is that I have the Term recognition pane on top. However, because there is never really enough space on any monitor, I would much prefer to have only the Term recognition pane visible, and the Termbase pane auto-hidden.

Thanks also for explaining the difference between Quick Add New Term + Add New Term. Sadly, because of a bug (see image below), I am currently unable to do any editing at all in the Termbase viewer. The instant I click on anything or try to edit anything, the following pops up:

I have tried all kinds of things to fix this: I have run Repairs on all of the SDL programs, actually even uninstalled and reinstalled both MultiTerm and Studio from the original installers. I checked that I have all of the latest Windows Updates. Etc. Nothing helps. I can only edit my TBs in Multiterm itself.
