Translation segments

Question

Hello! I am currently trying the 2015 demo. 
 Regarding translation segments, how may I delete a segment? 
 Is it possible to merge 2 or more segments? 
 How can I configure that the first letter of a segment in the translation is not autocorrected to an upper case letter? That may make sense at the beginning of a sentence, but many segments start in the middle of a sentence.

 I would highly recommend you do the following: 
 1. Look in the project folder and you will find that you now have a DOCX in addition to the PDF. 
 2. Open the DOCX and tidy it up, removing all the superfluous paragraph breaks first 
 3. Translate the DOCX instead of the PDF 
 At the end of the day your translation will be a DOCX anyway, so you will be much better off making the translation process easier by tidying up the DOCX before you translate it rather than after you translate it. 
 But if you really want to turn off this capitalisation then look in File -> Editor -> AutoCorrect .

 I see your other question was answered. One tip though would be to look in the column on the right. This is the Document Structure Information column. If it's one block emcompassing several segments then you can merge segments within that block. If you try to merge across blocks you cannot. Each block is a paragraph. 
 On deleting segments... you can't do this in the document at all. But if you meant in the Translation Memory then yes you can delete these. You can open the TM in then TM Maintenance View (bottom left of the screen in the navigation pane) and delete/edit TMs in there, or you can right-click the TU in the TM Results pane when you are translating. This allows you to edit/delete TM results on the fly.
