Failure to save as target

Dear all,

i am working on a PDF file and when i try to save target as, i get a message "Failed to save target content: the context list is null. COuld not get the last child."

I don't understand what the problem is and what is to be done to save the file.

thanks for the support

Kind regards,

Anne

  • Well, yes. But everything you have translated will be re-used when you prepare the file.

If you don't want to set up a new project, you should be able to just add the file again in the existing project (after changing the file type settings of course). I would recommend to create a subfolder to avoid any file name conflicts (or re-name the file itself before you add it in Studio). This would be my approach, because I know I get the exact same settings, except the file type setting that I changed, since I use the exact same project.

    1. In the Files view, switch to the source language in the drop-down list above the tree structure.

    2. Right-click on the project in the tree structure, choose Add New Folder and give it a name (e.g. Re-prep or No_Hyperlinks)

    3. Drag and drop the source file in Studio, right-click and choose Batch Tasks > Prepare without Project TM.
    4. Switch back to the target language. Done.
