Hi all, my Trados 2015 worked alright an hour ago. When I re-opened the program, all the file names became gibberish! (I can still open the files in the Editor view.) I've restarted my laptop but it doesn't work! Please help!

Hi Peggy,
I see you're working with Traditional Chinese. It looks like a font display issue but how it happened, I don't know.
You could try resetting via File>Options>Editor>Font Adaptation>Reset to defaults (bottom left of pane).
Have you tried running a Windows repair on Studio? That might solve this... Let me know if you need instructions.
If so, there are other things you can try...

Hi again Peggy,
Probably the first thing to try is a Windows Repair on Studio because that shouldn't lose your profile settings and it's always a good thing to do one now and again especially if there has been a large Windows update...
In Windows, find Control Panel, then find Programs and Features, select Studio 2015 in the list and click 'Repair':
It doesn't take very long.
If that does not work, here's where the font adaptation properties are reset:
Then here's where you'd then re-select the font you wish to use for Traditional Chinese:
I hope this helps...
All the best,
Ali
Hi Ali,
Thank you very much for your help. Last night I uninstalled and reinstalled Trados and it still came up with the gibberish text. I ended up turning off the laptop before seeing your replied. This morning I was going to try your method, but for some reason Trados is back to normal now.
Below was what I got after reinstalling Trados last night. I couldn't even choose the languages properly, so I gave up and turned off the laptop.
Now that everything seems back to normal, I'll save your suggestion and keep it for later (just in case). Thanks again, Ali!
