Full stop segmentation not working - why?

Question

Good morning, 
 I have noticed that sometimes full stop segmentation does not work: I have e.g. a segment with 3 different sentences, separated by full stop. 
 I have checked the "segmentation rules", and the default ones include full stop. Why may it be that it is not working as it should? This leads to having very long segments, which are more difficult and time consuming to translate...

Maybe you have abbreviations in your sentences, or no spaces after the words? Pretty hard to answer this one without an example of the sentences that are not segmenting as you think they should.

I get two segments. The third is not segmenting after 20 h. because "h." is an abbreviation in your abbreviations list and this prevents segmentation. Delete h. from your abbreviation list and you should have three segments which is correct.

 I don't know. I copied your text and immediately got two segments, separated after "aluminosilicate." I then removed "h." and get three: 
 
 Maybe you can share this part of the actual file? Just take a copy and delete all the rest of the contents apart from the material you shared here. If we have the same source material as you we might be able to find the problem.
