hi
my problem is to copy only a part of source line to target. l know how to do this in memoq and it is very easy. you just select the part you want and
right click on options comes and you select copy selected to target but l couldn't find this option in trados. please help mi if it is possible to do so.

the advantage is you dont need to go anywhere. you can do it with a simple right click
When you right click a part of the text, the text MUST be selected prior to doing so. So you have to go there - and even to right click you have to take the mouse in your hand and move it. So I fail to see this huge advantage you are talking about.
Then the question remains, which parts of the text do you want to copy? For alphanumerics in Studio you press CTRL+, and don't even have to use mouse. Same applies for variables and tags.
And in the end of the day: MemoQ is a different product, offering different possibilities. You cannot expect other program to do exactly the same. Word and InDesign both can produce text documents, but their possibilities vary strongly. I don't think InDesign user will expect this program to behave like Word and vice versa. Bot MQ and Studio have their strengths, but they differ. It depends on the user, which functions are more important. In my opinion, when I take all my needs Studio is far superior to MQ. But for different user the situation may be different.

I guess a nice workaround would be to use autohotkey. I'm wondering if it would make sense to start building a collection of autohotkey scripts so users could borrow them for all kinds of little things like this.
