Translating a single document

Hello, since upgrading to SDL 2017, I can no longer use the "Translate single document" function. I now must create a project to work around it. Do others experience this problem?

  • Hi Josée,

This is one of the highlights of Studio 2017... you can drag and drop your file or browse for the file from the Welcome View. If you use the single document approach then the bilingual files will be created in this folder:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Studio 2017\Projects\DropFiles\

However, if you just use the same old shortcut you always could have used, Ctrl+Shift+O, then the bilingual files will be created in the same folder as the source files just the same as they always have.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Paul
