Studio Subtitling wouldn't download...and now Studio 2022 (SR2) won't open. Error message: SDL.Desktop.Platform.CommandBars.IActionService

Hello,

I have been trying unsuccessfully to download the Studio Subtitling plugin. Every time I click to download it and restart Trados, it just disappears, I can't even find the file location anywhere and the download never finishes.

On top of that, since trying to download SS, I can't open Studio 2022 anymore. I get the following error message every time: SDL.Desktop.Platform.CommandBars.IActionService

Please help!! I have a few urgent projects to finish!

    Update: I followed the steps listed here + uninstalled Glossary Converter (my only other plugin) and bingo: Trados has opened. In addition, the Studio Subtitling files have magically shown up in my plugins folder...even though no trace of them exists elsewhere, including in Control Panel! As a result, I can neither fully install nor uninstall nor open the program.... If I simply delete these files in the plugin folder, can I then attempt a reinstall? I don't want to go through this again...
