MultiTrans Client - Unsuccessful or inconsistent search results in TextBase

If you do not receive any results even when the searched word is present in the TextBase, you may need to rebuild and reindex the TextBase. See the following article for guidance on how to do this:

Other symptoms relating to this may include:

  • Fewer fuzzy matches in the XLIFF Editor
  • Fuzzy matches that were in the XLIFF Editor could not be found in Client when searching for them
  • Manual searches in the MultiTrans Client yield fewer hits than expected
  • Manual searches in the MultiTrans Client yield odd results depending on the selected MultiTrans Options 
  • Manual searches will differ from user to user
