Draft Space in Tridion Docs 15.1: Confidence and Power with GenAI

Hello, Tridion Docs Community!

Two things that technical authors value:

  1. Knowing that their words are going to work for their audience.
  2. Having the power to get their job done fast and reliably.

In Tridion Docs 15.1, new features help authors (even those writing in a second language) to confidently produce their best work.

Draft Space introduces a new tool called Draft Companion, designed to assist authors during content creation. Powered by GenAI, Draft Companion enables authors to enhance readability, rephrase or summarize text, and conduct grammar and spelling checks quickly. Authors have the flexibility to use pre-defined prompts or ask different questions to GenAI through the chat feature. Importantly, authors retain full control, only applying the suggestions they find suitable to their content. In the Bootcamp video, you will learn not only how to use Draft Companion but also how to customize the out-of-the-box settings of Draft Companion to maximize your benefits.

We have enhanced Draft Space not only for subject matter experts but also for professional technical writers. Now, Draft Space features a condition builder, which allows authors to easily view a list of condition values and apply simple conditions or construct complex ones in a controlled and user-friendly manner. Additionally, with the Recently Used feature, there is no need to spend time searching for what you need; recent items are readily accessible for use.

You can see more in the Bootcamp video where we have worked hard on the product to empower technical writers to easily manage their work within Collective Spaces, alongside significant usability improvements. Moreover, as always, we ensured that Collective Spaces remain at the forefront of technology and security.

But why take our word for it when you can see these features in action yourself? (If a quick review is all you need, you can refer to the Bootcamp presentation deck linked below).
